Dorsey is above lavalais.

I love lavalais but he had more help along that dline.

Lavalais
Kyle williams
Spears
Marquise Hill

Thats way better players than Dorsey had. Dorsey had 34 solo tackles in 07. Thats pretty great for someone who was always double teamed.

You edited it to say he was a DE, which is also wrong. He was drafted by the Panthers as a DE because they played a 3-4 at the time, but he was a DT all four years at LSU. I mean shite, get something right.

Glenn Dorsey is the best since 1990, without question.

Dorsey was an animal. He was never the same after the chop block. I don't think it ever fully healed. The explosiveness, power and production tailed off.

Godchaux is easily above Bennie Logan for me. Especially if you look at production.

I'd love to see Godchaux come back but I don't see it happening.

Did Booger play a little on offense also (maybe FB?). I was trying to remember if his TD was as a DT or if it was an offensive snap (like the Fridge in the SB).

Goudchaux is not above Logan. Logan was a beast and unblockable at times at LSU.

Bennie Logan
quote:

Finished career with 107 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks

Godchaux this year. 58 tackles, 7.5 for loss, 5.5 sacks.

Numbers rarely lie, especially judging on production. Godchaux has more sacks this season with a game to play than Bennie Logan had his entire career.

I researched a little. He looks pretty good to me, he has been a d-line coach for many years including jobs at LSU, in the NFL with the bears, Texas, Mississippi State, and Georgia Tech.
