For number retiring ceremony. Perhaps should have asked him to step in as the hitting coach for the night?

It's probably me but this event doesn't seem to be getting the fan traction I figured it would have. His "moment" was arguably the greatest in LSU sports history.

After you mentioned The dinger he hit in another thread, I know you're trolling

Listened to the interview. To many "you knows". Otherwise very knowable. Wish him well

Best swing I've ever seen Kind of like watching Fred Couples golf swing. Don't know how they do it but it just looks different and more natural.

Interviewed on the TV and the radio. Loved his talking points.

-I knew how big of a deal getting to LSU was.
-We were taught at LSU before we blamed the ump for strike three, look inside ourselves to see what happened on Strike one and Strike two.
-Best thing Skip did for me was leave my swing alone. I didn't have to worry about angle trajectory and other crap.
-Most hitters sit fastball and fight off offspeed/breaking. I sat offspeed/breaking and worked to be quick enough to get to the fastball. An inside out approach.
-He always tried to use Left Field almost primarily as a hitter.
