Perhaps I am a sucker for this sort of thing, but I always enjoy reading the annual Thanksgiving Message on Dandy Don. LSU fans are more than just football-loving robots.

I agree. Makes me miss my ole man too. His birthday would have been yesterday. He would have been 64.

Is the first Thanksgiving message since his passing or has it been longer?

Thanksgiving Day will be the 1-year anniversary of my dad's passing....Mom passed away in July this year.....missing them both!

Scott's message is close to my heart today as well - thankful for the many years of having great parents.

If it'll bring tears to my eyes as the ones in years past did, I'll refrain from reading. Can't handle that today.

If you're too stupid to understand that by posting 70k thousand times on tigerdroppings you're subsidizing a web developer, then drop out of this conversation big guy.
