Sorry for the second tailgating thread in about 10 minutes but the seasons coming up and we're trying to make a lot of improvements and take our tailgating up a notch this year. We're going to paint our name/logo on the canopy of our tent. Any tips on what kind of paint/methods we should use?

Why not just make a banner type thing to hang? It would be easier to see anyway.

We're considering this too. Truthfully we will probably do both. We have a signature drink that we're definitely making a banner/logo for already and we plan on having "seasonal" game by game banners for each opponent so there's only so much tent space we have that faces outwards at the moment.

Invisible paint?

Unless you want to be told to take your tent down and have a frame with no canopy. Company logos are not allowed unless you are an official sponsor of LSU.

SIGNAGE AND BANNERS POLICY:

Banners and signage recognizing businesses, non-profits, or political candidates, campaigns, Policy: Banners and signage recognizing businesses, non-profits, or political candidates, campaigns, or issues may not be displayed, nor may promotional materials be distributed without prior approval by LSU Administration. For non-commercial messages (that is, non-profit or political messages), and subject to reasonable restrictions to protect safety and pedestrian access, small signs, measuring not more than 2 feet in any dimension, may be placed within your immediate tailgating areas, if you are present at the location at all times and the signs do not block any walkway or other path.

REASON: LSU operates a successful corporate sponsor program. In order to fulfill contractual obligations with its sponsors, LSU cannot permit businesses to display banners or signage on campus. Only companies that have corporate sponsor agreements with LSU Athletics may display their signage. Companies interested in more information on this subject should contact LSU Sports Properties at (225) 578-8883.

Just joking...sorry, post went through before I could finish. I think your best bet would be to have it professionally printed somewhere. A place like ArtMasters in Covington for example.

We're definitely not paying to have it professionally printed. Also any logos are our own custom ones for our group of friends.

My friend who brought it here (doubt he is the first person to ever do this though) calls it the Foamosa. Orange juice and Miller High Life (The champagne of beers). At first it sounded gross but if you get the combination right it's actually delicious.

Try adding a bit of amaretto too, it's called a Wisconsin Lunchbox then. Since the measurements are pretty forgiving, you can do pitchers of them nicely.

Sounds similar to a lunchbox only not as bad arse. Kinda like a watered down version.

Add a shot of Disaronno and Jack in there then chug it. Thats a lunchbox. Thats our drink

you spew that w/o even considering why they do that? hey, idiot if you were a sponsor you would pull out if LSU allowed people to advertise for free.

I see you are a Trump supported; that explains that your mouth is much more important to you than your brain.

To be honest tho, I think the odds of getting caught are pretty slim. We had a huge "GEAUX TO HELL OLE MISS" banner in 2014. And by huge I mean like 10'x5', so definitely a good size, and nobody said a word to us. I assume that would fall under the non-commercial banner category of having to be under 2x2. We're planning on having a "fire Joe Alleva" banner for the homecoming parade but now that I've read those rules that might raise some red flags.

Missed this when I made my post. We do this and go a step further by adding a shot of Jack to it as well. Then chug it.

We just call it a lunchbox

night night
