I don't understand how this happens. I live outside Shreveport and love listening to the games on the radio. We don't get crawfish as early as you guys do in the South. I never think of crawfish until the first game starts. Then i realize i dont have crawfish. Now I have to have it every Friday during the game. 5 pounds and a six pack, listening to the game. By myself. I enjoy it so much. My own little tradition. Can't help it. Is this normal?

Used to do this in college a lot.

I miss it.

Hoping to get together with a few close friends and boil some during a game this season.

I hear you. Had my first crawfish boil of the season at first pitch. The occasion was opening day.

Thank you. I'm at the point in my life where I don't give a shite what anybody thinks.I'll take my peace where I can find it. Eating crawfish, drinking beer, yelling at the ump, or the coach or the batter or the pitcher, it don't matter, it's peace to me.

How about getting your lazy crawfish eating arse in your vehicle and driving a few hours to get some crawfish. Problem solved

When baseball starts, we have crawfish. I just don't think about it until first pitch. Then I remember I need it. Hard to explain. Maybe it's spring fever. I don't know. Maybe I need something to do while listening to the game. Its something I'm going to do as long as I can. I'm not driving several hours. No need dude. God bless.

I wasn't trying to piss you off just maybe I am envious. I live about 9.5 hours away from a good sack of crawfish.

Yep probably the thing I miss most about when I left Louisiana for good over 20 years ago. Nothing like boiled crawfish done in Louisiana. I miss the old Alex box and Friday nights. My favorite memories in high school. Flashback Friday I guess tonight
