I don't give a rat's arse about what people think about the arms race with Alabama, or whose dick is bigger. The best game atmosphere I ever saw came when I was a kid, when the stadium held 70k. Not gonna beat the horse about ticket prices and corporations and wifi and all that.

The stadium is getting too big. Traffic and parking are already horrendous. Wait a year. It will be insufferable. More and more people will stay home. And the sheer number of tickets that will soon be available will lower the value of a single game ticket to the point where people will stop spending the money.. Those of us who spend THOUSANDS every year on this shite are beginning to see the folly in it.

People who beat off thinking about the north endzone being closed in are retards who need to be shot in the head and thrown in the river.

I partly agree with you. Parking will be miserable. 1-2 games will be full. The others will be very patchy

LSU needs to tier their ticket prices. The new upper south needs to be $30-50 tickets, with no TAF fees.

I agree, the stadium does not need to be any larger. I'm hoping it will bring ticket prices down (for sale outside the stadium) since there will be more availability. We can't even fill the seats we have.

We need a retractable north endzone. Put it up when Bama comes to town, and take it down otherwise

Agree its a horrible idea thats only being pushed to so we have 100k capacity.

Those seats may be "sold" but it will be empty as hell lots of the time.

I bought season tickets last season but not this season. I won't going forward. It's cheaper for me to buy tickets outside the stadium then get season tickets. I go to every game. I leave when the game is no longer in doubt and sometimes stay even after that to watch the back ups play. I go to the shitty non conference games as well.

The north end zone expansion is for the suites and not the seats. More money for the program will come in even if less people show. The problem is that at some point the game and stadium is a shell of what it should be.

My complaints are their are too many ads on the scoreboard and in the stadium. That the band doesn't play the good songs that keep the fans excited and pumped. There's nothing I can do but support the team and yell.

Tired of people bitching about other people not showing up. Just shut up and enjoy YOUR experience, if you have a problem with all the other fans go pick another team that will fulfill your expectations. Tiger stadium is and will always be one of the best, let it go.

I say if you buy the ticket... you do what you want. But the Death Valley I grew up in is gone. Its more of a social event now. I never thought I'd see that many empty seatswhen we were playing a top 20 team...not to mention against Flordia. The atmosphere today was average. People who won't agree either never went to games when Death Valley lived... or just don't want to admit it.

Well, I left New Orleans at about 11:30 and made about an hour family stop in between, but made it for kickoff. What was the big issue?

I did think that traffic on campus was a little worse than usual, but I left late and so I couldn't really complain. There is a ton of people out there. There are certain spots that always suck if you park in them because they are extra slow afterward with getting out. Learn them and stay away from them. I have a decent walk after I park, but I cruise out pretty well after the game.

If you're spending thousands, then I would reconsider that. You can get into every game for much less and get tickets together. I do agree that some of the best atmospheres were some years back, but what you gonna do? We still have some great ones. Look on the bright side, if people stop going it will get better because there will be less parking/traffic issues. I don't like how LSU tries to make everyone be parking whores when the ticket prices are enough already, but they're not getting me to be one of those whores. Geaux Tigers.
