Tiger Stadium has a reputation to uphold.

Every homegame we get fans of the other school on here asking what not to do and even contemplating not making the trip because of the "stories" they have heard and i for one love it. You never hear that from any other stadiums. Thats called intimidation and every visiting fan feels it when they step on campus. Looking over their shoulder, wondering what they're "allowed" to say or where they "allowed" to go. Its what Death Valley is famous for. Now some of the fans want this gone, want us to be "nice" and PC. Well i say to hell with that. I will not stand idly by as Tiger Stadium as i grew up knowing it dies. I say as long as you dont break the law or cause injury, you make them rethink their next trip to our house. JMO....ill step off my soapbox now.

I will agree with this. I am an LSU senior who actually stays for the entire game- not that this is commendable, but should be expected. I have not missed a game since my senior year of high school, and I can honestly say that the past few games have lacked the intimidation factor that we all love so much. The first quarter of the Georgia game was buzzing despite the obvious mistakes. I have several friends coming down this weekend from Alabama. Many others chose not to come down in fear of what they've heard about being an away fan in Baton Rouge. I love this. I don't see why we can't give people the best tailgate atmosphere in the country with the occasional "tiger bait", "$h!t on saban", "eat $h!t bama", "go f*** your sister" etc. They should feel welcomed to an extent, but in no way comfortable. Give em hell!

i say be respectful to the opposing fans and have a good time with them. just please please be loud during the game. all the crowds have been pretty weak this year for lsu standards (meaning the most intimating place to play in the country). i know its 230 game and that sucks but we got to suck it up this week! Dont party to hard friday night and get up and get out there early saturday, having some bloody marys and let the good times roll! lets try and top the crowd from the georgia 2003 game.

I am absolutely going to bring thunderous, ear splitting, soul cleaving, child frightening, trailer trash staving, apocalyptic roar of Beelzebub, Revelations invoking, behold the wailing trumpets of Judgment Day you infidel idolatrous Saban worshipping crackers, murder death kill noise clamor cacophony din to Tiger Stadium this weekend.
My express aim is to yell so loudly that the sound waves cause an artery in Saban's brain to burst.

Nice Reputation

Tiger Stadium didn't build its reputation through the years by having foul mouthed fans. Rather, LSU fans cheered vehemently for their Tigers and "Tiger Baited" opposing fans and teams. All of that is in good fun. When an opposing fan has to look over their shoulder or is frightened to come to Baton Rouge, something is simply wrong with that and its disheartening that some people believe it should be that way. While you should be loud and supportive of the Tigers, a rational fan should not curse or threaten other fans (although some good-natured "Tiger Baiting" and ribbing is okay).

I encountered well over 30 UGA fans, NONE of whom said they had been "tigerbaited"! One little sorrority princess told her boyfriend "I don't have time for this 'tigerbaiting'", which in turn lead me to down my bourbon and inflame my wife, as I let lose a fire+brimstone barrage until the Red pants made it to their gate. No one joined in with me? I'll do my part.

The kid in that video needs to have his arse severely beaten. He's really tough when it's 35 on 2. Damn, that disgusts me. That is exactly how LSU fans should never behave.
Be loud, be intimidating, defend the bulwarks of Tiger Stadium, but don't be a craven bully.
I hope those cowardly c*nts were prosecuted or censured by the school.

Wow, what a bunch of mature, grown up individuals.

Agreed. That was ridiculously too far.
