eta: While I find this horrible, I find the fact that the administration covered the field to shield the vandalism from any cameras as kind of humorous.

Doubt it. I use to have the combination to the locks back in college and would go out there in the middle of the night and run around. Pretty cool actually lol.

agreed - I never understood why people want to vandalize things. Even if you hate something, I don't get the desire to physically destroy something.
