--One can only hope that some kind of signage or something goes up to cover over those Blocks on the new South endzone upper deck.
*I want a overhang/wall behind it and over it.
*Plus some Purple & Gold paint on the inside. All I see is GRAY Concrete. How about a Score Ticker from other games.
Like "Home of the Fightin Tigers"
or "Louisiana State University"
Nice Fonts and Signage Always looks better
We need Eye POPPING ... Stands out ...
uniquely LSU
Something BIG!!
Good Location, Iconic...
Get creative LSU
Nice-
This is what I like!! The North Endzone
Just used to show style and SIZE of Letters compared to Tiger Stadium.
NOT Like THIS Below ---
Geez LSU - Get your Sponsors To Step up !! Those Small little letters look so weak!! And the gates look like a college on a Budget try to improve their Stadium.. Where's the Purple and Gold??
AND please No more alumni naming on our stadium like those sad looking gates on the west side!! Please do something with the Blocks on the top of the NEW South endzone.. Where's the Purple and Gold??
And I'm speaking up, because I Care what we (LSU) looks like. And I Give alot to this University to just accept anything. All who support LSU deserves better then those weak looking so say improvements(?)

A sign to cover up the bathroom/concession stands would have to be huge.

more Tiger Band, less piped-in music

I agree that with the exception of the north endzone improvements, the exterior of Tiger Stadium is very drab and boring. A few years ago there were banners hanging on the east side. I thought those looked cool.
I'm not a big fan of giant lighted up letters and the like. It looks like a circus. As much as I hate them, the Gumps did it right at Bryant-Denny. The exterior looks classy and cohesive. Nothing tacky or garish. Sandford stadium at UGA is also very nice on the outside.

I would add something like this:

If I said it once I've said it a thousand times. Gut the entire underneath of the stadium. Everything from the seats to the facade. Our restroom facilities are terrible, out walkways way to narrow, our concessions way to cramped. If they aren't going to use the old dorms as gameday condos or similar, they need to get rid of them to have more space.

The good news is, upgrades are being studied as we speak...

And Alleva said LSU is looking into improving the restrooms at Tiger Stadium — which might become necessary if beer sales are ever approved.
On what could happen to the old dorms in Tiger Stadium:
"It’s full of asbestos, so it all would have to be abated. The plumbing is shot. The electrical is shot. The ceilings are really low. It’s a really low ceiling, so aesthetically it limits what you can do. One of the things that we have the architect looking at now, and goes back to the fan experience, we have them looking into the possibility of creating more restroom space out of that dorm space, renovated space for particularly women’s restrooms. Women are really particular about that. So it we could create more restroom space, that would be a real advantage for us.

Not trying to a jerk here but you do realize that this would result in more ads, which it seems they would like to keep to a minimum. (Ex. The small areas at the bottom of the new video boards reserved for advertising)
Somebody has to pay for the things you're suggesting and that would be sponsors. Sponsors pay, sponsors advertise. That's how it works.
If the university were to pay for it completely, ticket prices, parking prices, concessions, etc all would more than likely have to be raised so they would remain on the projected annual budget.
I understand what you're getting at and again, I'm not trying to be a jerk but there's more to it than just saying, "get the sponsors to pay it."

CHAIRBACKS! Throughout the entire stadium.

Something along these lines would hide the buildings at the top of the SEZU for sure.

Completely with you on that. It would look great.
But who's paying for it?
Basically it's "do you want more ads?"
Or
Higher prices overall?
Wish it wasn't that way but what can you do.
I'm anxious to see it in person though.

The outside looks great. I wish people would stop complaining about getting our stadium upgraded.
This is the third thread I've read today with people complaining about something that's not even done. Why can't you shitheads just embrace Tiger Stadium in all of its greatness?
You're seriously comparing our amazing stadium to shithole Neyland Stadium and acting like that cheap aluminum can is so much greater than tiger stadium.
All that being said... the one thing I don't understand is how they haven't upgraded the 18" 1982 Zenith TVs in the corridors. 75" HD flatscreens are like $500 now. They could easily upgrade the tvs for next to nothing.

The concession offices back when I worked them in college were in one of the halls of the old dorms. They have bathrooms in them. Not saying it would be easy, but they need to use that space. Like the poster said above what are y'all willing to give up? More ads? Higher ticket prices? Lower the recruiting budget?one thing I know for sure is, the stadium as is isn't keeping us from competing with the other big budget schools.

I would like:
*Bathroom overhauls where needed
*Signage to cover restrooms & consessions in South
*Re-do West Side facade to match either North or South "Coliseum" look

I would redo the inner bowl with premium chair back seating. This would reduce the maximum attendance, but will provide a more suitable environment. Wider seats with more leg room are really needed.
Next, I would greatly enhance the restroom situation.
Finally, I would do something about the phone access. Today it is mandatory to be able to surf.
In the future, I think beer might be a good idea. I understand that studies have shown that it replaces harder alcohol.
