Tiger One Village tailgate (Long but worth the read)

Had a run-in with them in Tuscaloosa last weekend. Here's how it went down:
My group of 4 knew one of the guys that works for them, and he invited us to their tailgate. One of the guys in our group actually had an emailed invitation as well because he works for a sponsor.
So, we showed up around the time a bus of Tiger fans pulled up as well. They were just about to finish setting up, so we were just standing off to the side. We had another 12-15 friends coming to meet us there because it was an easy meeting place (the giant gold trailer is hard to miss), then we were gonna head off to the quad.
The group that arrived on the bus (roughly 10-12) was sitting under one of their tents as our friends showed up. Just as our friends walked up, it started to rain harder, so we stood under one of their tents that wasn't being used.
That's when the looks started. These "LSU fans" are giving us death stares, like we killed their dog. So, one of the young chicks that works for them (looked like an entitled bitch) goes to our friend who works for them and basically wants to know what we're doing there, since it was a private party (which we were actually invited to).
LONG STORY SHORT: We were asked to leave basically because we (LSU fans) were standing under a tent that wasn't being used by other LSU "fans" IN TUSCALOOSA. I've gone to a lot of road games over the years, and I've never dealt with something so ridiculous. They couldn't have handled that any worse than they did.
From what I've heard from friends "in the building", this isn't the first time they've done stuff like this to LSU fans either. Y'all ever deal with these Tiger One clowns?

First of all. They are employed by CBS. Don't have to be a "fan" to work there.

the fans were the ones that got off the bus, not the people that worked there.

i'm well aware that they're employed by CBS. people in the athletic department can't stand them.

Were they at Central High? That's where we parked.

yep, that's where we parked too. i could understand if the people that came to meet us ate all their food or drank their beer, but they just stood under a tent to get out the rain.

That was a great place to park. We walked right by their set up. Too bad I didn't see it go down. Our crew would have helped y'all out and thrown down.

just because you can't read it doesn't mean it isn't interesting.

Did you try explaining to the count you were invited or tell her your connection to the group?
Posted on 11/11/15 at 7:33 pm to Adam4848
i would have had we been trying to stay there, but i just couldn't believe that it even got to that point. we're all supposed to be Tiger fans, and they pulled that crap.

Did you not inform them that you were emailed an invite and also know a member?

wasn't trying to start shite with these people because we weren't staying there. it was just a meeting spot for our group.

So what are you mad about? You chose not to tell them you were invited and let them treat you like you werent? I just don't get how saying look, I was personally invited by so and so is starting shite
Posted on 11/11/15 at 7:49 pm to Ed Osteen
i'm mad that a group of LSU fans would treat other LSU fans in such a way at A ROAD GAME. it's completely ridiculous.
Posted on 11/11/15 at 7:50 pm to The Truth 34
I agree, but still don't get why you didn't help yourself out in the situation.
Posted on 11/11/15 at 7:51 pm to The Truth 34
More and more people these days are self absorbed assholes. Should not ever be a surprise.
Posted on 11/11/15 at 7:59 pm to genuineLSUtiger
i guess i was expecting people to be excited to be around other LSU fans, rather than a bunch of sister frickers covered from head-to-toe in houndstooth.
