Same for me, lived there for 9 months. Without the TV deal, you had to mostly settle for ACC Sports, and that's a drag!

You're in Virginia Tech/Redskins country now--it's lonely for LSU/Saints fans up here (I'm in Newport News). Keep the faith.

One of my friends that just graduated LSU used to live in Virginia Beach. He has a job interview back up there soon, I think he may be moving back there.

I live in Hampton. I used to work in downtown Norfolk and I'd run into Tiger fans pretty regularly. With so many transplants in the military here, they're around. I'd be glad to get together for games, but I'm in the restaurant business, so having Saturdays off for games is kinda rare.

Moved to the Newport News side about a year ago from Baton Rouge. Lasted 5 months as we hated it there. Moved up to NOVA and never looked back.

The richmond group is about the best thing that's guaranteed and close by (sorta). Good luck. I won't put the area down as a lot of people love it there, we just wanted more of the big city feel and it's definitely not there.

I have been trying to find more Tigers also here in NOVA, but everytime I went to one of the recomended locations I was the only LSU fan there. I've been to Bailey's twice in Arlington and the 18th Amendment in D.C. and no luck. The only thing around is the forementioned Central Virginia Chapter of the LSU Alumni that meet's in Richmond, VA.

It would be awesome if another chapter or group form in NOVA becasue I've ran into a lot of other LSU/Saints fans. Someone get it started now!

Go to ANY sports bar on SHORE DRIVE east of the LESNER BRIDGE and you will find two sports bars....cannot rememer the names. But there aren't that many.

And for you fellas that aren't having fun in VABEACH....you ain't tryin hard enough. It is by far the most fun place I have lived.

No luck at what? It's not like we hang out there all day everyday... but if a game is on, you better believe we'll be at those two places.

Also - someone is trying to start a petition for Saints fans to reserve the top floor at Cyrstal City Sports Club... regardless, always a pretty good Saints contigent there.

But yeah... LSU fans have a section of Bailey's at the Ballston Common Mall and the 18th Amendment on Pennsylvannia Ave.

I was really speaking of the 18th Amendment because I had no luck finding it. I was in a rush at the time. And does Bailey's show all televised LSU games?

all football games are shown there. we had a group there to watch the College World Series in 2009. I haven't been up there for basketball games (here's hoping one day we'll be good again).

I tailgate for every game at my house in Manassas. All LSU fans are welcome. The only time I don't do it is when I'm at the game.
