I think they should have made them aware in the Oklahoma TO. He had time to get to halfcourt and call TO and draw up play.

What do you guys think?

I trust the players way more than CJJ.

Ehhh I don't mind it. They all converged on tq if he makes a pass someone was open.

The plays we run after time outs are usually so terrible that I'm glad we didn't call one.

Since we missed shot, I wish had taken the TO.

CJJ will never call a timeout in that situation. He never has, and just won't do it. No point in asking for it anymore.

Hard to draw up a play that scores in just a couple seconds but don't understand why you would leave a timeout unused.

That would let them set up their defense.

But Quarterman probably should have passed the ball instead of taking it himself against three defenders.

Coach can't call timeout in that situation. Has to come from the floor. Coach probably thought they'd hold for last shite and time would run out.

I thought this initially too but after watching the replay he really didn't have a clean passing lane and there wasn't enough time to find one. That was a desperation spot at the end. I wouldn't get too hung up on it.

Oklahoma milked the clock and hit a clutch, contested shot for the lead with 3 seconds. When you do that, you're going to win the game 90% of the time.

Good coaches have several plays drawn up and actually go over them in practice. I know, hard to believe.

Jordy said CJJ was signaling for the TO, the players didn't see him.

I think the new rule this year is that only a player can call time out - coaches can not
