I thought he has played well for a freshman, but a ton of room to grow see mistakes every game. We need him against Bama. Thoughts?

Post less.

Has done an exceptional job for a true freshman. He has two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half years to work out any small kinks in his game. Thank Heavens he is a Tiger.

Classy Kenny. Kid has been good not great. Big adjustment from HS of course. Can find himself lost at times when ball is in the air. Has had several penalties...but once again he is a freshman. But to call his play exceptional....no.

He's been as good as you could expect from a True Freshman. The safties and their constant confusion worries you, not the play of the corners

He's no Hargreaves or fitzpatrick, but he's still pretty good for a freshman

He has been significantly better in man to man coverage than in zone coverage. Zone coverage responsibilities come with time and experience... His only weakness in man to man coverage is lack of elite speed. Also, being young he hasn't completely figured out how to play the ball once it's been thrown.

Tolliver's been great. He'll be a stud

How much of this is scheme, and how much is that Jefferson and a couple others just apparently know where they are supposed to be?

And you have to really take into account the team we just played, too.

Sure, it's a Conference USA team... but one with a pass-happy scheme, and a 6th yr QB (who has some incredible stats on his career) throwing 60 times.

He's done great for a true freshman.

TBM, not directed at you specifically.
It amazes me how fans want to critique players and don't fully understand things. I guess it's really a parallel to real life though.
KT rarely gets thrown at, and for good reason. He is one of your top 3/4 players on defense, right now.
He hasn't played great for a freshmen, he's played great for a corner back... He actually may be a top 5 corner in the SEC right now.
Guy is a beast and most fans don't realize it yet because the TV announcers haven't told them..... Yet.
Phucking Beast.

He is doing great. Steele is running a ton more zone than Chavis's did so fans need to consider that.
