My thoughts are we shouldn't lose a game at home this year.

I admit the schedule is weak but it is always a good time to be in Tiger Stadium no matter who we play. Also I live in Houston and can go to the BYU game and sleep in my own bed afterward so that helps.
I am going to the Tennessee game which should be fun.

None of yall would rather playing P5 opponents instead of troy or Chattanooga?
Definitely. Makes for better football and a better resume

Not when the 4th best "home" game is in Houston.

Haven't been to a game since 2014, but all I've read (and seen on tv) is about how the stadium is half empty by halftime unless it's a nail biter.. even against SEC teams. Not sure what it's attributed to. Was at 2007 LSU/AU and it'd be ideal for that atmosphere to be present at every game.

My "solution" remains the same. Play 9 SEC games annually. Play one Louisiana team in TS annually. Play one bigtime school at a neutral site annually. Play one bigtime home-and-home annually.

I agree. I'd like to see some of these big non-conference games actually played in TS. I thought I heard rumblings about the Texas home/home being played in neutral sites (Houston and New Orleans maybe). Could be wrong. I'd really like the Texas one to be IN TS.

Troy should be a really good one. At least that's what I've read on here.

The stadium is empty because the product sucks. Look I get it some of you love football if it were pee wee league out there. I love tiger stadium as well. I want good football, not guaranteed 42-14 ball. Attendance and retaining attendance throughout the SEC will always be a problem until you make the product equally valuable or as close to equally valuable for each home game.

Personally I think there is 3 games worth attending all year. Auburn, Arkansas, and A&M.
I'd add Syracuse to that list, at least. Also, if the two previous meetings are any indication, Troy should be an interesting game, to say the least. That's five out of the six.

The larger problem is that with SECN, the crappiest game still takes 4+ hours.

The State game was the longest home game by far last year and it lasted 3 hours and 32 minutes.
