There have been some posters who suggested that Lee's development was seriously hampered by having him start as a RS Frosh in 2008. The theory being that if Perrilloux had not gotten himself removed from the team, Lee would have developed into a better QB when he later got his chance to play, rather than being "thrown into the fire" in 2008.

Do you think that starting Harris this season might impair his development?

Jennings has game experience. It's the safer bet honestly.

No this will not effect Harris at all.

Lee just wasn't that good. I liked him much better than JJ but he didn't have the instincts.

The big difference is the person leading the development of the Quarterback. Cam Cameron>>>Gary Crowton

I think it's hindsight. It was obvious he wasn't ready looking back. But every one is diff, Maybe Jennings and or Harris are.

The difference is the coordinators. Crowton didnt do a good job of adjusting his offense for a qb with no experience. Im sure Cam has simplified it a bit and will add more when our QBs are capable.

Folks like to mouth off about back foot and mechanics, but most of the problems with JL and JJ were PSR and disguised Ds.
Evidently the recognitions never got across until Krags came around and some improvement became evident.

UVA changed QBs finally, but Lee's season record for pick 6s is in jeopardy. UVA's starter threw THREE in the FIRST HALF!

I think there is something to that assessment.

Lee had the arm, it was his mind that was the problem.
