This would be the pinnacle of my 35 years of being an LSU Tiger fan.

Most of you on this board can't even imagine how hard it was to deal with the fact that Bama consistantly kicked our arse for so many years. Playing Bama at home in the 70s, 80s and early 90s wasn't something you wouldn't wish on your mortal enemy. With that being said, how great would this scenario be.

We meet Bama in the NCG game and win on a late score. Saban makes a few critical mistakes and throws some of his players under the bus because of his huge ego. He then takes the Ohio St. job because he knows he can't be King year after year in the SEC. The meltdown in Bama land would be priceless. Can you even begin to imagine the irony in this. Just three years ago, Bama fans were saying they would pay Les Miles to stay at LSU. To see Les Miles be the reason Saban leaves Bama would be the equivalent to the fall of Rome.

IDK about anyone else, but this would be a great day for me if this happened.

Nice scenario but I think you're giving Saban way too much credit. I'd actually prefer he stay at Alabama so Miles can inflict more damage to his inflated ego and reputation.

Saban reminds me of Mr. Coach Cline in Waterboy when he is coaching against Miles

Love your post. I agree. BUT, Urban Meyer is going to Ohio St., Saban to Penn St. OR Texas. He'll bolt for one more college job.

I just want them to lose to Auburn tonight. That would make this weekend genuinely sweet...almost poetic.
