This season, I am back to pure excitement for LSU football

In recent seasons I was a little scared the team would disappoint. I fell into the negativity somewhat -at times. I lost that "I expect LSU to win this game" .
I think it started after the co-defensive coordinator disaster in 2008 followed by the QB challenges for the last 4 seasons...bottom line, I lost my LSU fan swag after 2008 and 2009. Confidence has slowly been coming back as the team has improved since 2009.
This year, I am very excited and very confident in this year's team and I think LSU dominates opponents more than it did last year.
Mettenberger, barring injury will lead LSU in a special way..."with great balance and quick strike capability"
I know SEC fans think we are crazy about being so confident about Mett,- who hasn't started a single game at LSU...but this guy is Legit, he is way ready, it's his time and will make the most of it.
A very special season is on the horizon

Me too.
First time in 3-4 years.
JJ really made things hard for me the past couple years.
