This regional is so lame

Part of the reason the regionals are fun is to see other teams besides LSU at the Box, these three do nothing for me.
We've got a team who we always get in the postseason, a team that is 40 minutes down the road and a SWAC team. Boring.
I'm fine with getting a fairly easy draw, but still...

I'm going to assume your one upvote is a self upvote. This will not go over well.
Personally, I'd rather play boring teams and have an easy path than have "big names" come in here and potentially give us trouble. I understand wanting competition, but I'll take the easiest path to Omaha. Idc.

He didn't say he wanted 3 other national seeds to come to the box. It'd just be interesting to play other programs who have never come down or rarely do

The weather may nullify the starting pitching somewhat.
A starter may go 2 or 3 innings, have a 3 or 4 hour rain delay, and the starter is burned for the rest of the regional.

Tough to get in a regional format... the same teams that are geographically close to us seem to be good pretty often

I'm sure the NCAA takes travel budgets into consideration at least a little with these things. Baseball loses money at almost any school not named LSU.

Just wait and see if SLU gets past Rice without using Sceroler and he goes against LSU. If that happens, it could get interesting for the Tigers.

I think it's weak how the Astros, Yankees and Cubs refused bids. They want no part of the Tigahs.

I'm excited about a match up with USM. My second favorite college for athletics. Almost went and a couple family members did attend

It should go back to the old format. Super regional format sucks. And championship should be one game in Omaha
