This one game is not what will be the undoing of LSU football or O

how this team does the rest of this year will represent where LSU is at and where it is going.
MSU might end up being a pretty decent team, but how the team lost is the key here. How the team played in Games 1 and 2 are also keys. They played bad teams and looked sloppy doing so.
We don't know what will happen, but if O is going to be let go, it will happen after the rest of this season and possibly next season plays out.
In the end, O was a horrible hire for the future of this program. He's not a championship caliber coach and not one any sane fan or administration would trust to rebuild a program. He is simply who we are stuck with and hopefully LSU can weather the storm that is O's tenure while minimizing the damage.
Could he turn it around? Perhaps. Is it likely? Given his history and lack of any skillset outside of coaching DL And recruiting, no.
In the end, just support the players, call for Alleva's firing as this is all on him and his pathetic ego.

O is not a head coach. he is a d-line coach. never should have been hired as the HC period.

Bingo! O is a good man and I was thrilled when LSU hired him to be the DL coach. I never dreamed LSU would make him HC though, I really thought as a program LSU was above that type of hire.

I don't know if O is a good man, and nor did I know if Miles was. I don't know them personally, so that isn't an issue to me. He clearly has little understanding of what it takes to be a head coach in college football, because he honestly believed his flaws were things that we can get around by throwing money at a bunch of top tier assistants.
In the end, if he continues to blame the players, then I will lose respect for him. Until then, I'll be upset but support the players like White that are giving it their all.
