Guys struggled to bring the QB down. The Moffit regimen has outlived it's usefulness at LSU.

You are dead right. How could that happen? LSU's strength has always been beastial physicality.

I agree. Rewatching now.

Pursuit is a big issue. No acceleration into ball carrier

I agree with OP. They have been trending this way for a few tears now. Are they training for more lean type training rather than bulk? If the first, why do they seem so gassed?

I want to clarify, obviously, that I am not a trainer and know nothing off S&C, only from my observations of being manhandled in physical games.

I dont get these threads. We have some guys who were playing in high-school less than a year ago. It takes time.

It seems our guys are thinking on every play instead of playing. Which, I think, is why we "seem" less physical.

Lawrence? Don't think he is soft.

Yep, let's ignore the obvious and blame it on the S&C coach that produced 2003, 2007, and 2011 LSU teams that made others quit.
The level of deflection for Orgeron is a disease that will ruin the program.

You don't think it is a problem that we have to start underclassmen who are not physically ready for (winning) SEC college ball?

ETA: also why do you ignore the previous several years of contests against the likes of Arky, Auburn and Bama where we got pushed around quite handily in most cases?

Getting fatigued rather easily. I know depth is an issue, but even then there should be no way Syracuse shows us up

I never said it wasn't a problem, but 18 year olds going against teams with jr's/sr's, like MSU, will be physically weaker majority of the time.

Too add, there aren't many positions outside of a select few where freshman can step in day one and make a huge difference on every play. LIke maybe the skill positions. Linemen need at least a year to develop IMO.

To your point, this all isnt on O.

Tommy Moffitt is one of he premier S&C coaches in the country.
Grimes has coached lines that produced rushing records year after year.
The ignorance is overwhelming. You guys have no idea what you're looking at.
