Clearly the SEC Commissioner conspired to preserve the Florida one loss record to keep the Gators in the hunt for a money bowl game.
We have to hope the voters remember this for the polls. Disgusting act of cowardice by Florida and an equally disgusting act of record manipulation by the SEC. It's time that the conference finds a new Commissioner.

How stupid can you be??

Tennessee has to lose TWO more games while Florida runs the table in the SEC.

How is that giving them the East on a gold platter?

You people are laughably stupid.

Yes - Florida did not want to play this game because they knew they would lose. Half of their defense is out and possibly their starting QB. We might have beaten them by four TDs. No doubt that is why Florida didn't want to play.

I think Saban set this up. He's best friends with the SEC commish and forced the SEC to cancel the game.

If you think the SEC Office colluded with UF to cancel the game because they thought UF would lose and they didn't want them to take that loss so they could still make a big money bowl, you're a retard.

UF played Sankey like a bitch and drug their feet because they wanted to keep their SEC East hopes alive.

You can say this all you want, and I don't think Sankey has any play in this besides incompetence. But, Foley knew exactly what the frick he was doing. Florida was trying to get this game cancelled. They avoid the biggest chance at a loss on the rest of their schedule and get ahead of Tenn if they drop both their games to A&M and Bama.

Florida claimed to be adamant about playing this game in Gainesville, yet they didn't want to postpone to Sunday or Monday.

As mentioned earlier, Tennessee will PROBABLY lose to both Alabama and aTm. An LSU game with all their injuries is the most likely 2nd SEC loss on their schedule. If the game is never played, then their season comes down to beating a very beatable Georgia team in TWLCP, and then beating Arkansas when they are at full strength. And if they finish 6-1 instead of 6-2 and Tennessee loses to Alabama and aTm, then Florida wins the SEC West.

And, as Rabalais also points out, if LSU did run the table (HIGHLY UNLIKELY) and beats Alabama, a similar scenario would take place where LSU has the tiebreaker over Alabama but Alabama advances anyway because Alabama has an extra win. This decision removes an Alabama opponent that controls its own destiny.

So in this scenario, Florida and Alabama (and possibly aTm) have the most to gain and LSU had the most to lose. And which two schools do you think had the biggest input on making this decision?

That's not tinfoil. That's fricking FACT.

No doubt Saban was the one who decided if the game should have been played. Saban is so scared

We're again taking about conspiracy vs incompetence. Either way is bad

Florida and the SEC offices conspired, and Alleva is the incompetent one who had no ability to keep this from happening.

It is possible that it is both.

Ok well when the next hurricane comes around and Bama has an SEC lose but LSU doesn't and we only have Arky and A&M left we'll just cancel the game and coast on into the SEC championship. K

Works for me
