They never had a chance at a good season. They are LSU. LSU basketball is just dead. Has been for a long time.

That happened before any of these current players were born. At this point, it will never happen. Even if they were somehow to pull off a miracle and have a good season sometime in the next 10 years or so, it's way too little, way too late. I honestly don't understand why the university wastes its resources making a half-assed attempt to field a basketball program. They should either make a good-faith effort (i.e. hire a coach) or quit wasting time and money on this garbage.

I seriously think even with Ben simmons and the other great kid coming in we don't make the tourney next year and JJ is fired. He can recruit but can't coach.

LSU has zero Div 1 guards period. A stretch maybe but our guards are terrible. Zero shooting ability or ball handling or passing.

Hornsby and Quartermann are pretty good guards. And patterson is coming along well.
