Maybe Jones doesn't use the timeouts to keep the opposing coach from having additional chances to out coach him.

12 point lead and outcoached down the stretch.. again, and again.

I cringe every time I see Jones giving instruction during timeouts.

If you say so Coach Rjlebla...

Be forgotten more basketball than you'll ever know, jack@ss. The players play, but when they are jacking up 3's from half court and the other team is getting scores you can't wait for the tv timeout.

Why is the coach off limits for criticism?

I'm a believer that Jones actually gets a bonus for every time out he finishes the game with

This team isn't a well coached team.. This team has the talent to win maybe 1 or 2 games in the tournament if they had a better half court offense and that's all on the coach. Middle of pack sec team is what we are

Honestly, we should be 1-3 right now because the UGA comeback in OT was a miracle. Inexcusable with this talent.

Jones is great at bringing in talent, but him and his assistants (I don't know what they bring to the table on game day) have issues during the game. There is NO movement on offense, so when a team goes zone and we're not hot from deep, we're done. Hornsby is one of the few guys that moves around. If I can see that, the coach and the assistants should be able to see that.

Jones is a positive guy and likes to build the guys up (and I don't have any problem with that), but you have to be intense with certain guys to get the best out of them, and I still don't see that. He's too laid back and he is not making proper X and O adjustments. If they can make some of those crucial adjustments, this team could be really good.

For the life of me I cannot understand why he put the ball back in Gray's hands to get the go ahead basket. It was obvious Gray just didn't have it in him. He already bowling balled two defenders on a drive into the lane. LSU just doesn't have a go-to player who can create off the dribble and score when you really need to get a basket. No Chris Jackson's, no O'neal, no Howard Carter, no John Williams (or, as it turned out in the '86 NCAA Final 4 Tournament run, no Don Redden) Gurantee you, next year, when LSU needs to put the ball in one players hands and get a basket, Ben or Blakeney will be able to get it. Most really successful basketball teams have that one guy who can create his own shot and make it when the offense is bogged down and time is running out. LSU just doesn't have that player on this team. I really thought Gray had the tools to be that guy, but 2 times in that last minute of the game he just choked on it. First time when he charged, his eyes were looking at the floor. He wasn't even looking at the defenders. Point guards, hell, any basketball player dribbling the ball should never be looking at the floor. Then Jones goes to him again and he just dribbles right into the defense. And I know Gray is better than that. Makes me ponder the fricking question, exactly what was the line on the game? Not serious with that one, just frustration rearing it's head! This team is better than that! Or at least should be!

Losing is one thing, but losing like that has no excuse. Not even a shot on goal to take the lead. Just turnover after turnover. JJ should have burned some TO's and kept them in his pocket for nothing. Maybe he was thinking he could use them for the next game. HAHA, just kidding. This team looks like it's going to underachieve all season. Gray looks so damn good at times, and at other times he just plays like a 5th grader. TO after TO after TO! He needs to go to the Les Miles school of don't-fumble-the-GD-ball!

No shite, it's on Jones, a-hole. He's the head coach. I'll tell you this: Jones didn't tell #5 to turn the ball over on our last two possessions, and he didn't ask the team to miss over 90% of their three point shots.

What a pussy you are!
