Yeah. Here's how the calendar goes every year.
Basketball sucks.
Softball loses in WCWS by they can't hit.
Baseball loses as national seed after peaking in Hoover.
Football loses to Alabama.
Repeat.

2013 had Bregman, Katz, Rhymes, Ibarra, Jones... can't put senior leadership by CPM.
