This is for the Douche Bags that talk bad about LSU

LSU baseball has:
- 6 National Titles
- 17 SEC Regular Season Titles
- 19 SEC West Division Titles
- 12 SEC Tournament Titles
- 9 times awarded a National Seed for NCAA Tournament (Soon to be 10)
- 5 Consecutive Seasons as a National Seed (Soon to be 6)
- 17 CWS Appearances (4 in past 9 seasons)
- 36 Wins in Omaha (Most in SEC)
- .711 Winning Percentage in Postseason (2nd Highest of All Time)
- 29 NCAA Postseason Appearances
- 25 times as a Regional Host since 1984
- 22 NCAA Regional Wins
- 12 Super Regional Appearances
- 7 Super Regional Wins
- 9 National Coach of the Year Awards (CPM - 3)
And on, and on, and on...
Keep in mind that this ain't about you, it's about the Tigers. Nothing is worse than seeing a bunch of "LSU" fans post about how we will end up Major Leagueing it eventually...
So as we prepare to host yet another Regional, and become yet another National Seed, quit starting threads that tell us how much we suck and that we need to stop enjoying LSU winning games because they'll blow it in the 9th

How do we have 7 super regional wins but 17 CWS appearances? What was the format before the present one? Thanks.

The "Haha you were wrong about this team" threads are getting just as old as the "this team sucks, fire Mainieri" threads were back in April.

Sorry I keep hearing references to the third championship this year. I can only account for two. What's the third one?

I think they had larger regionals (more teams, fewer sites) with the winner moving on to the CWS.

Eh... Told you so threads are far from my favorite but I think after some of the shite people have been spewing over the last few months it's 100% understandable. Still got a lot ahead to play for, though.

But it's literally different people saying the same damn thing... and like you said, the fact that we haven't even begun the real postseason yet, it could potentially bite them in the arse.
Everybody is so hellbent on jumping ahead of the curve and saying "I told you so" one way or the other. It just doesn't seem too intelligent nor enjoyable.

There are 295 D1 Baseball Programs. Since LSU last won a National Championship there have been 6 teams that have won the championship. Six. Let that number sink in; That means 289 teams have fallen short of winning the coveted national championship you mention as a benchmark (most of those teams not winning their tournament, not being invited to a regional and not making it to a super regional); but sure, LSU sucks because there have been 6 teams win it since we last won it.

True. But there was no shortage of people saying we aren't making a regional, this team is terrible, Mainieri, Dunn and Gibbs should be fired post haste, etc. Let's not act like there were just a few posters expressing concerns. There are LOTS of people that deserve to be called out for totally quitting on the team. I'm not going to do it but won't hate when other people do
