This "debacle" is playing right into the media's hands

All who are blaming various players in this should keep in mind a few things.

First of all, the media has often criticized Les for his dumb coaching, lack of talent development, clock management, etc.

Then they turn around and praise him for his quirkiness, winning record, etc.

Now they are criticizing LSU for the way it's being handled.

If Les were to stay, it would be "you had your chance to get rid of him and didn't".

If he goes it'll be how bad we treated him.

The media is mainly a bunch of SOBs lurking for blood in the water. None of them are about a warm and fuzzy story if they can get a dagger in someone's back.

The media wins either way so piss on them. They are the ones making this into more than what it is.
