You cant review a foul ball call no matter what. Players stop playing when foul is called so you cant just say "oops it was fair"
You cant award bases after players stop playing

My god they have licking the beaver the whole time

Because they missed the call.
That's a tied ballgame. Break for LSU.
So what? How pissed would you guys be here at the umpire if LSU was duped out of 2 more runs on a call like that?

This entire board would explode had that happened to LSU
Posted on 6/23/17 at 3:02 pm to Prominentwon
Just have to be pissed, it's not reviewable
Posted on 6/23/17 at 3:02 pm to Prominentwon
The board would be in meltdown mode if that happened to LSU.

Uhhh yes you can award them bases if you deem that the batter would have had a reasonable chance to be reach 2B. Saw it last year when our bat girl picked up a fair ball against CC in supers

That ball was called fair.

Rule (or lack of rule) was correctly applied, but let's not act like remedies don't exist in baseball. When that rule gets changed it will probably award a ground rule double.

Thats not a fair or foul question. Thats a judgment call just like obstruction. Which is probably what was called
Posted on 6/23/17 at 3:06 pm to Parrish
Thats completely incorrect my man

Let's not pretend that this isn't a dumb rule. How easy is it to review fair/foul? Very. It can be changed.
Had that happened to us, 2/3 of the stadium would be repeatedly booing throughout the inning.

What level do you ump with replays?
Posted on 6/23/17 at 3:09 pm to asullivan12
The plays that can be reviewed are:
• Deciding if an apparent home run is fair or foul.
• Deciding whether a batted ball left the playing field for a home run or a ground-rule double.
• Spectator-interference plays.
• Deciding if a batted ball is fair or foul.
• Deciding whether a fielder did or did not make a catch on a fair batted ball hit into the outfield or on any foul ball.
• Deciding scoring plays at the plate.
• Determining if a player should be ejected for a collision (illegal or malicious slides).
• Determining if a run scored on timing plays. (An example would be to determine if a base runner scored before the last out of an inning was recorded at another base.)

You're wrong dude. Fair/foul is reviewable if it hits the ground or a player. Just not the wall somehow lol

15 more inches and Lange might very well have gotten rattled to the point where the bullpen would have stirred big time.

Any other team I'd feel bad. Not these guys.
There's no way they didn't know they recruited a pedophile. frick em. Win however. I almost hope there's almost more blown calls just to rub salt in.
