Third time watching. Don't see what the fuss is all about!

I know I'm in the minority and will be chastised, but I don't see the best CBB right now!

I don't really get it either.

I'm in this group also. Talented, yes. Way too many things to work on
Posted on 1/9/16 at 2:18 pm to kjanchild
The media makes those decisions.

the offense has no direction. It cant be easy for him

He'll have to learn it in the NBA.

No offensive whatsoever, just stand around and play one on one, jack up runners
Posted on 1/9/16 at 2:20 pm to kjanchild
I'm in agreement. There are times where he flashes some awesome talent and potential. But the best player in the nation, not even close to me
Posted on 1/9/16 at 2:21 pm to kjanchild
This is my first time. Um. Yeah. I agree.
This guy is nowhere near NBA ready.
But, honestly, this half court offense looks like it was designed by Miles.

Agreed....FIVE turnovers in one half...between him and the refs...LSU don't stand much a chance this half.

this thread is fricking laughable. Y'all are some goddamn retards my goodness.

Hes playing pretty bad today yet has numbers that if any other player had we would say he played great today.....when hes on hes unstoppable when hes off he still plays better most.

It's not about where he is now, it's about his projection. He has ball handling and passing like a PG at 6'9"-6'10" and can see the floor. He needs to build his scoring ability with a mid-range jump shot that will make him virtually unstoppable. He rarely takes/makes mid-range jump shots which allows the defender to just guard against a drive. He's young and will be a little inconsistent, but will continue to improve as he faces more and better competition.
I think he's trying to look too smooth instead of just playing hard and smart.

In probably his worst game of the season he might end up with 20/15/7

I'm pretty positive most of you don't know a thing about basketball.

ITT: poor evaluators of talent

and this.

I think his lack of aggression is a big perception issue that overshadows all those double doubles
Posted on 1/9/16 at 2:32 pm to cito
I'm pretty positive I know a hell of a lot more than you since I coached it 15 years. He has great numbers today...but today he has hurt LSU badly with all the second half turnovers. He is a phenomenon...and without him this team is not competitive...but TODAY, despite the numbers...he has cost LSU. Its funny how if a guy is real good you just overlook all the careless turnovers.
