1) when every team we play, regardless of the level, scheme against the run and load the box and we just can't take advantage of the opportunities that present. in fact, it appears we don't even try.

2) our highly rated OL can't open holes for our RB even with a FB and TE helping. 2 chances to get 1 yard and we get stuffed.

3)our highly rated OL still struggles with pass blocking (although improved) and doesn't pick up stunts very well. hell, BH got hit before he could even hand off once yesterday. and most of their pressure came right up the middle.

obviously BH does not need to have the game put on his shoulders. we've got to have a running game and a set of simple passes that make the LB's back off. I can't imagine what the hell this offense practiced in the spring and fall.

We're all wondering the same thing.

I really think Miles lost his job yesterday. We've been burned with the Kool-Aid too many times to believe he'll turn this around. The only question now is whether or not he lasts to the end of the season.

if I was the oc and saw 8-9 in the box, I'd play action and hit the tight end every freakin time the defense did it. so....I'd essentially be setting up LF with the pass.

This is one thing that kills me. We often look like we're not even trying to exploit the opportunities we have.

The only explanation is Les Miles.

That's all that can be said at this point. Les Miles.

It may be unfulfilling but it is what it is.

Hahahah. Are you like 6 years old, or do you just have a bad memory? We said the same thing about Miles losing his job after the infamous "clock it" on fourth down vs Ole Miss. Everyone was convinced that cost him his job. Here we are, several years later, saying "Oh, that's it. Miles gonna get fired now! After all these years, we still burning time outs because we can't get a play called in time. HS teams do a better job. We've enjoyed moderate success due to SUPERIOR talent on MOST sSaturdays, except when it really counts. They've won DESPITE this coaching staff, not BECAUSE of this staff. Enough is enough. I'm getting old. I'd like to make another run at a NC before Indie. Damn.

Dude I watched a so called great coach burn timeouts when the clock was already stopped. You tards need to disappear you show up when we lose but never when we win. Funny how that works..

It's a staple of Les Miles. He coached that way all the way back to OC at OSU. He just doesn't care about attacking weaknesses or taking what the D gives. He believes in doing his thing win or lose.

Explain this please: Why put the game into the hands of a struggling QB - RUN THE FOOTBALL

Ball on 35 yd line, 1:04 on the clock, 1 TO (burned 2 due to bad coaching but I digress) Come on man...a youth football coach knows what to do in this situation. RUN THE FOOTBALL you don't need to pass just need a few yards, heck you can clock it... pick up yards; Whisky was tired RUN THE FOOTBALL, use your TO to set up a game winning FG. WE have a great not good FG Kicker , No excuses fellow LSU fans - FIRE LES MILES IMMEDIATELY

"Dude", how often does that great coach call timeouts with no Tim on clock. One bonehead call does not a bad coach make. This staff has been bumbling idiots, consistently, multiple times per season, for YEARS! I've been a Miles supporter against my better jusdgems than for a long time. I'm done. NC caliber talent squandered ..... Again. Like a broken record. I'm not a hater, but It's time for a change. Get away from the details and look at the long term big picture. This program has underperformed at a rate inconsistent with our talent level. How many highly rated HS QBs have come here to die? Pretty much all of em. Come on man. I'm just beat down. It's time.

I couldn't believe how many of our pass plays were "busted" even before Harris finished his drop back.
