There were 8 baseball seasons between 2000&09. It's been 7 since 2009.

Paul is bringing us close to the longest streak without a national title since LSU first won one.

Difference being the coach for the majority of the years in that first period proved he couldn't sustain a program, the coach for the second period proved he could rebuild a program.

Les Miles has lost control of Paul Maneiri.

$100 says he still mismanages the frick out of the bullpen all year.

To be fair, the year we should have won it Poche decided to not be able to throw to first.

Paul makes bad decisions. However, here it the national champions since he has been coach at LSU, with CWS appearances
07- Oregon State- 2 total appearances since 2007
08- Fresno-1 total appearance since 2007
09- LSU- 4 total appearances since 2007
10- USC- 4 total appearances since 2007-coach retired
11- USC-4 total appearances since 2007-coach retired
12-Zona- 2 total appearances since 2007
13- UCLA- 3 total appearances since 2007
14-Vandy- 3 total appearances since 2007
15- UVA-4 total appearances since 2007
16-CCU- 1 total appearance since 2007
I would say Paul is doing good in the current climate of college baseball.

A fricking miracle that he got Notre Dame to Omaha.

lol I don't think Paul was coaching in '02
My bad you were just referring to his overall cws record not just at lsu. Coaching Norte dame in '02. Still at lsu he is 7-7 in the cws with a natty. I would rather that than him not even getting there.

I find it hard to believe that LSU can't find a reliable 3rd day guy. This has been going on since 2010. We always get a Nola, Gausman, or Lange. We normally always have a Saturday guy, Eades (even though I hated when he pitched) Poche, Alsup.
Our Sunday guy always fricking sucks
