As a season ticket holder, I agree.

No surprise here, the product isn't as appealing to the masses as it once was. Funny though that most will never give the tickets up for the new breed to get in the fold.

It's not that bad. You have A&M and Auburn. Florida is garbage but it's always nice to beat up on them after all of the whippings we took in the 90s. Plus, revenge for the hogs.

Home SEC games are Auburn, Florida, Arkansas and A&M. We have to go to State, South Carolina, Bama and Ole Miss. There is no reason to have anyone worth a shite on our schedule with a young team. Some of you are ridiculous.

Could have something to do with the expansion...

The expansion is mostly premium seating and the top is general admission and away tickets so that can't be it. Most of the tickets for sale are SEZ or Lower Bowl sidelines. Not cheap tickets and definitely people that have to be season ticket holders for a while.

I think this is the biggest reason and the people wouldn't go to the games anyway. But they try to charge for the tickets and the TAF fees and they retain the rights every year.

I wonder if a person gets more TAF points the longer they are a season ticket holder?

I sold mine for the year, but my first son will arrive within a month so I think I get a pass this time

Not directly, but a guy behind us in the NEZ has club seats in the WU. He kept his old tickets, sits there once in a while but usually sells them. Don't discount this factor.

Can't afford to attend all of them anymore.
Good thing is they lowered the price of non conf games and raised price on premium SEC games.

I go to about 3/4 a year now and sell the rest and don't feel bad for doing that with kids.

It is crazy that college football tickets are more expensive than NFL games now.

It seems like a lot but a pretty small percentage considering there are 100k seats

Well, there's always tickets all over the internet. It just seems like more than usual on this site.

It's getting more and more tempting to stop season tickets and just buy scalped tickets for the good games. Cheaper that way.

This year's home schedule is a dud.

Again I ask, what more do you want? We have Auburn, Florida, Arkansas and A&M this year. What kind of teams would make you want to go to every home game?

Well for one if they brought the non conf marquee games to Tiger Stadium instead of selling out to Houston, Atl and Dallas. I get recruiting angle on those deals. At least Texas, UCLA, Syracuse and Arizona St are making those trips to Tiger Stadium by next decade.

Shitty home schedule.

Plus, it will be hot as balls in September
