Perhaps LSU coach Les Miles has reconsidered after almost crowning Brandon Harris his next quarterback immediately after the freshman nearly delivered a miracle comeback against Mississippi State on Saturday.
I dont think this happen.
if they said the fans then yeah

since the vast majority of pub about this team has proven wrong I refuse to believe anything said about the team or any of it's players, esp form miles. but also the media.
what you see is what you get.
what you see is what you get.

Maybe we should operate under the assumption that the coaches have perfect information. And we have imperfect information.

I would like to see him start Harris just to give him the experience of the game on his shoulders. he should be successful against this opponent.
of course, Jennings also should be successful against this opponent.
the next opponent, however, could frick up Harris's confidence. it's a risky move starting a true freshman against an SEC opponent, esp on the road. damn risky. no matter what the fans say.

Couldn't agree more.
I think anything less than Jennings and Harris splitting equal playing time in tomorrow's game would be a mistake.
I really don't want to see that same super vanilla package we used against ULM tomorrow.
Take advantage of this opportunity for the players to learn the plays. It's the last one they're going to get before a gauntlet of tough SEC teams.

uh, when did this happen?

That article talks about Harris almost bringing LSU back vs Miss St but is dated September 13. That fits well with the talent of the writer.

There is a TRUE freshman QB at Clemson that is starting for them on ESPN Saturday. Billy Ray has no issue with unleashing him.

I didn't read anywhere in the article posted that had GG's name on it.

Dildeaux. Didn't read. Thanks for the warning.

Sept 13 is the date of the pic, it's part of the caption.

I'll be at that game.

Why? What would be the problem with giving the guy with the least game time experience more snaps? Exactly what God-awful thing might result?

I don't know why people keep saying this. Plenty of true freshman have played for plenty of teams without it fricking up their confidence. Just because some people want to blame J Lee's shortcomings on being played his redshirt freshman year doesn't mean other QB's can't handle playing early in their careers or that it will permanently damage their psyche in some way.

Miles did seem much higher on Harris as a possible starter earlier in the week. Really has been backing off of it latter in the week. I'm as big a Miles fan as they come but if Harris only gets mop up duty or just hands off the ball I'm really going to lose it. He needs meaningfull playing time in this game and we need to throw the ball a whole lot with both QB's and get Dupre, Quinn, and Diarse much more involved greatly. The excuse or idea of hiding your offense from your next opponent (auburn) is not wise at all. Would like to get the TE's involved also for once, Jeter, Dickson, and/or Gordon. If you line up in the I, then throw to the FB, (Hillard would be a great weapon in the passing game from the FB spot).
