The time was right to move on from Les in 2015

You do it, take a few days of bad press on the chin, then its all gone when you unveil Jimbo and UGA does you a solid and shitcans Richt out of the blue. No one is talking about evil LSU anymore after that.
IF (note the capitalization of the word "if" my dear positigers, all 2 of you that remain) the fallout from this loss bleeds into the rest of the year and things don't change,Les becomes the essence of the lame duck/dead man walking. Now instead of days and weeks you are looking at MONTHS of negative recruiting, months of bad press. And, with everything Louisiana has been through, the talk of ponying up millions of dollars to remove the guy will only rub people the wrong way even more.
By not pulling the plug then, Alexander, Jindal, Edwards, whomever it was, may have hurt this program more now than they would have if they had just made their move. The move should have been made. The program is beyond stale, and these players are too entitled under Les (not a single player on this team including LF has won shite in an LSU uniform unlike those who came before them...that 05 team was full of winners who would've creamed Wisconsin yesterday but I digress...) We'll see how much the LSU admin and TAF learned from their November to remember. Line things up and make your fricking move; no bullshite leaks or smokescreens.
I knew we were fricked yesterday when we ran the option on our SECOND PLAY OF THE SEASON. Les is so far gone. The program is slipping and this year we csn only hope the big boys in the big seats have their shite together and do what's best for the program, not the millionaire moron who still can't put a competent offensive line , quarterback , or productive system together.

Honestly, the media is turning on their lovable dancing monkey that gets them such phenomenal ratings. If things don't turn around quickly, there won't be any backlash for firing a coach that went 7-6.
now we just need to cheer our asses off for Texas, so Strong stays.

I was traveling for work when I watched the aTm game in my hotel room.
When the game ended, I was so happy LSU won and Les was GTFO.
Then, the presser happened and I had this pit in my stomach as if LF just ran over me.
I knew we were fricked and missed a golden opportunity. We basically wasted a year of eligibility for all of those players.

The bottom line is les has done this to himself. In a perfect world he deserves to go out on top and ride into the sunset atop a white palomino stallion, but bad hires (and loyalty to shitty coaches who make their hay in recruiting) along with the inability to produce an offense that can win games and actually put the players in position to succeed is all on him

its sad that les did this to himself. He could have walked off with an sec title had he not stayed loyal to cam and BDP. All he had to do was step away and become the GM. If he hires a young good oc, and a real special teams coach to go along with our D staff we would be so set. Instead les re ups cam and BDP

We gave him a blank check, and he went out and hired the best man in his wedding (made him very, very rich while doing it) and the worst special teams coach in college football.
Also Glenn G pointed out that the buyout will only be like 4.3 come december. there won't be nearly as much financial pressure

That is great news indeed. One booster can front that no biggie

no sympathy for the hat
every day he is the head coach at LSU, I dislike him more and more. Even if he had gotten canned at the end of the last year, my admiration of him wouldn't have been as high as it used to be. The shitshow that was last November rubbed salt in the wound. Yesterday just made the wound even deeper

This.
I started a thread last night blaming Herbsreit for all of our pain and frustration. Ohio St douche just couldn't keep his mouth shut.
