Too many people are dead set on the notion that Les will not change and he has chosen his QB, Jennings will start for two more years, blah blah.

If he really were that stubborn, Jordan Jefferson would never have even seen the field at all in his career.

We HAVE seen it happen. Change is coming. I believe!

I believe Les has a serious want for Harris to win this job. Going way out on a limb but unless Harris was way oversold coming out of high school I expect him to be the starting QB against McNeese.

...because Lee would have played all 4 years. Didn't think it was that hard to figure out.

I get what you are saying, but JJ would of seen the field in 2012, in that hypothetical. He would of kept his redshirt in 2008.

Did Jefferson play in 2008 because of an injury to Lee?

i think it is crazy that people forgot that Les benched Jennings.

They act like it was some conspiracy theory to set Harris up to fail.

I could be wrong, but I don't think an injury was what prompted the change. I think it was just ineffective play. And earlier in the year Jefferson was used in short yardage situations-like Jennings in 2013. He came in for a play at the 1-yd-line against Moo State in '08. Ran the option and got stuffed. Think we eventually turned it over

Harris started a game. If he was dead set on Jennings, why even start Harris? He made a qb change earlier than he ever has not due to injury or suspension.

Yes, and Lee played because hatch got his head knocked off against Auburn.

Because at the exact same time you could say that Les' refusal to play Lee over JJ later on was due to his stubbornness...

And I'm not saying Jennings is gonna start and Harris has no shot. Because I don't believe that. Harris has a lot of talent and potential and Jennings has very little. If Harris puts in the work, which sounds like he is, and gets the playbook down and matures a bit, I think he will be the front runner for the job.

But saying Les isn't stubborn because he playerd JJ over Lee isn't a good example at all.

JJ only saw significant time once Lee went down in 2008.

After the Auburn game, Harris saw no significant time even when we were getting handled by Arkansas. I don't know what is going on behind the scenes, but Harris is in the dog house. Only 6 more months to go to see if anything changes.

No, because Lee was playing for the opponent most of the time.
