I love that trip and think Hoover has been a great host. Very centrally located and attendance is amazing every year.

Personally, I hope it stays there. LSU has made a lot of great memories there over the past decade or so.

Why do you love Bama?

Seriously, I was hoping for Memphis. It's not moving though. All this talk was just a ploy to get Hoover to commit to upgrades.

The proximity to Tuscaloosa would bother me more if Bama was any good at baseball.

Hell, I say move the CWS to Hoover. LSU plays good there every year.

Should rotate between Hoover,Memphis & New Orleans imo

Also, the SEC Basketball tourny & the SECCG in football (Between the Superdome & ATL) should rotate.

They are building a bunch of stuff next to the Met already that looks like it should be pretty awesome

Nola and Pensacola are terrible choices.

I went to my first one this year, and Hoover does a really nice job with it. I can't see a big reason why it needs to be moved.

Using the up vote down vote for a poll is frowned upon.

I would love to see the tournament rotated between Hoover, New Orleans, Round Rock, Jacksonville, and Memphis.

Only Nashville,Memphis,N.O./Metairie and Hoover offered proposals. Previous poster prob. has it right, all this bid stuff was just a ploy to glean upgrades/concessions from the Hoover facility. The SEC/REC don't want to give up the FAR too cozy relationship with the locals !

My bad on the poll. Never knew that. It was meant to be more for a discussion and thought the up vote/down vote would help.

ETA: Can it be unachored if I reword? Lol

ETA: How about now?
