This team looked dominant yesterday and barring some bone headed penalties, they dominate State as well. But, LSU can significantly improve and that's a scary prospect.

Starting at the QB, Harris missed some open guys for possible scores yesterday. You have to imagine with reps and coaching in these next 5 games, he will start to hit those throws.

Defensive Line: Orgeron is showing his worth. Getting solid time and production out of Herron and Gilmore is beyond valuable. Similar to Harris, these two will likely improve as they get more snaps.

Defensive Backs: Our leader in Jalen Mills will be back which gives us even more depth and talent at DB.

If Miles and company play it smart and allow these young guys to get real reps against these next five, LSU may be hellacious come November.

We'll need it. Three of the last four games in November are against teams that will finish among the top four in the division.

I like what we saw yesterday, and its only the beginning. This team has a great potential. Can't wait to see the rest of the year

all teams worth a damn improve as the year goes on. the players play more in sync and they learn from experiences in the previous games.

LSU will NEED to improve to be in Atlanta and I agree we are likely to improve a good deal. the winner in the west cannot have more than one loss and it may turn out needs to be undefeated and we have some challenges ahead. Alabama isn't going to turn over the ball like it did last night and their run defense is bad arse. ole miss has an amazing defense. those are two games we will need a complete offense to win; that means a stellar passing attack.

lastly, our special teams coverage needs improvement big time or we're gonna get one run back on us. i'd kick that ball deep as possible from here on; I am not impressed with our hustle downfield

This team is still nowhere near peaking yet.. I hope we can get early leads the next few weeks and throw the football.. If we can refine our passing attack and get some value reps in with our 2nd team D, come away 4-0 and healthy, it will be a good two weeks

I seriously hope Ole Miss doesn't improve much. They were insane last night. them. Wish we had him now. Can you imagine getting the top rated recruit TWO YEARS IN A ROW?

I think Ole Miss will get better

#5 for Ole Miss is a very fast monster

LSU

We have not peaked and BH is so young but is doing so well

at what Cam is asking him to do. What I like is like on the

bad snap that went high he made a play out of it. He seems

to be level and his throws with the are talent he has will

come. When he starts hitting 20 yard slants and 30 yard

outs - LSU will be a monster. LF7 seems to be that next AP

that everyone said he would be. Good for him and I am just

going to enjoy it. LF7 with a great D and a not average but

very good passing game will allow LSU to have maybe the

greatest 2 year run in LSU history - but we have to see BH

make the throws that he hasn't made yet - I think he will

not yet

Our defense in the first half of both games has been fricking lights out. If we can improve our second half D we'll be scary. (of course some of that was adrenaline and momentum by State and Auburn-mostly in the 4th qtr, and us being ahead and playing some back-ups.)

Ole miss won but caught a few lucky breaks I don't think they dominated any phase of that game they are beatable.

Ole Miss is definitely beatable especially if we protect the ball like we are currently doing.
