All we need is one loss by Bama to "control our own destiny" in terms of being able to win the SEC-T.

Doc, what happens if Tuscaloosa is not ready to host us next weekend? Neutral site? Will Bama come here?

I'm sure they'll find somewhere to play in the Tuscaloosa area.

Yea, I guess so. But Tuscaloosa itself appears to be devastated.

I'm sure finding a facility to play wouldn't be a problem. Hotels that are a) open, and 2) not full of refugees, would be the issue.

Well at least they'll have over a week to get ready, since they're on the road to Starkville this weekend.

I doubt the LSU baseball team would mind driving the team bus to Birmingham and just driving an extra hour before each game. There is a lot of down time for the team on road trips anyway.

How bad is the city? I haven't read any stories on this but y'all are making it sound like there are 10,000 homeless people or something.

Probably play in Hoover if schedule works with minor leagues. Could your OP be fulfilled by the road to Hoover being a displaced Bama home series?

could the West champion possibly have a losing conference record?

Doubtful since a lot of them play each other over the final 3 weeks. Someone is going to have to win those games.

"We really ought to sweep Kentucky at Alex Box just because they're Kentucky." -- Doc Fenton

" If that's the case, we really should have swept Auburn and Georgia, just because we're LSU" -- SitchProdigy

"Really now. Based on what? You have to win a game before you can sweep." -- jim712

Doubters.

The power of positive thinking is remarkable. So let's keep it up. Our Tigers deserve it; a fulltime academic schedule at a fine university and a fulltime baseball schedule.
