The defense is just as bad in all three levels, if not worse and we have for the most part no major injuries.

The offense has declined and is making more mental mistakes and Mett appears to be missing the reads he was nailing in the beginning of the year. The Oline has just not gelled, but has become unglued.

As opposed to frickin Auburn, who is getting better every week as the season progresses.

Do our players lose interest and focus once the chance at a Natty is lost?

I really want to see a better LSU team against A&M. If we regress further, Miles is going to feel some heat from the media (he already gets reamed by the fans). If the Oline stinks again, Stud is gone.

Maybe its because they played absolutely horrible teams early in the season

Refreshing and new takes here. All of them.

And never use the word "Natty" again.

Thanks in advance.

Their out of conference schedule was an abomination. To be honest with you when we beat TCU the first game of the year I was hardly impressed.

So you are implying that they are a better team now? UGA and AU are not horrible. Ole Miss is.

lsu hasn't improved since the 2011 nc debacle,

we're going to be stuck with 2-3 losses every year as long as miles is here

No, i'm saying that we were never very good but that was skewed by the opponents we were playing. Georgia's defense is bad and Auburn was not very good when they came to BR.

I think it should count as a loss.

LSU is really 6-4.

I agree. However, my point is that we are worse now - as opposed to Bama and AU (and many others) being better now. No matter who we have played. If we replayed those teams now, we don't beat them as bad as we did and we would loose in a worse fashion. Or even loose a game we won earlier (e.g., if we played AU this week). I know this is all hypothetical.

Does anyone think our team has gotten better as the season has progressed? If not, they have regressed or are playing at the same level. Either way, that bothers me because we have not had injury problems.
