The Rant (right now) is a surprisingly melt-free zone. Well-played.

Sad ending to a great season. Hate that our team contributed to the loss, but have loved watching all year. Hate it for the seniors, but look forward to what the youngsters will become. Ready for kickoff.

Because Florida is better than us and they proved it on the field. Took 4 of 5.

Well. I mean, there's certainly things that could have been done better.

But, UF didn't exactly sleep walk through it.

They're a good team.

Well we were out gunned yesterday. Today we were still out gunned and just made about 5 stupid mistakes. Really good season just not great!

Just wasn't there for us tonight. Mistakes made all around. Didn't have our heads together. UF was flawless. Can't win when we don't bat well, don't field well, don't run the bases well, and can't catch a break. UF earned it. I think we beat them more times than not but that's not how it works. Still proud of this team.

ETA: I retract the statement about us probably being able to beat them more. I won't even try to defend it.

Didn't have the pitching, fielding, or batting to hang with Florida...Everyone saw it...

I'm melting.

LSU sports is slowly breaking me as a person.

Oh, you have your melters here and there but baseball fans are generally a bit different than football fans in that regard. It's the nature of the two games I think.

Paul Mainieri reminded me of Les Miles if he was a manager and Kramer Robertson played a bit like OBJ played vs. UF. It was kind of weird but a little predictable.

The parallels between Paul and Les exist...it'd be funny if it was another school. Tough night for the alma mater, and it's weird to go into a calendar year where a SEC title in a major sport is a stretch.
