I didn't see a topic about this new feature at the Box so sorry if it's already been debated within a thread.

It's been a long time coming but I really enjoyed the new feature.

Nola's fastball was consistently hitting 93-94 while UNO's starting pitcher fastest pitch that I saw was 86. Most of his fastballs were in the 82-84 range. His curve was in the mid-70's.

I'm wondering if our lack of hitting was caused by not being used to facing a pitcher who throws so slow. (And opening night jitters.)

Broussard, coming off elbow surgery two seasons ago, was hitting 90-91 with his fastball.

Connor hale said that everyone was having problems staying back on a ball that slow but started to figure it out in the later innings.

Nice. I didn't see that.

On the little bloop pop up hit to Ibarra that dropped in front of him, I looked at the radar display and it said "31 mph."

I think it may have been tracking the speed of the ball leaving the bat on the pop up.

Did anyone else see that?

Good. Do you have link to his comments or just tell me where you read that? Thanks.

We don't do very well with slow pitchers. I remember that was an issue with Stony Brook.

He says it around the 39 second mark

I noticed that a few times. I believe you are right. I which case. That's pretty cool.

I remember the team having that problem a couple times throughout that year with slower pitchers. Not that it is an excuse

I wish we could get a pitch count put up there.
