the Quarterman starting at PG project is over

Hickey out to start the 2nd half as he should be always.
Quarterman is raw but talented. Not quite ready for SEC competition though.
I commend JJ for trying…would be brilliant if Quarterman could have developed because his size is invaluable. Look for Hickey to start moving forward

tgr4ever, wow already eating your own. Atleast you didn't pump him for 3 years and then turn on him. I'm sure you're a scout that can see talent where others can't. Thanks for your insight

A. We're not in SEC play yet
B. He's never going to be ready if he doesn't get minutes.
I don't mind him starting against UNO, NSU, SLU. Now if he's taking significant minutes away from Hickey in the Old Spice Classic at the expense of the team then there's an issue

It isn't even a question if you ask me. This team is so much better when Hickey is on the floor.

Yeah there have been rumblings that it was something along the lines of being late for a couple practices. He's still played his arse off, even with the diminished role, which speaks volumes about him IMO.

agreed
Hickey is clearly the better guard right now but maybe getting Q some extra time in there will put him on the fast track to getting more prepared.
