Les Miles' OCs and QB coaches developed the QBs recruited by them and Les Miles.

Although there was one year of regression for Lee (2009) and Jefferson (2010), they both improved 3 out of 4 years. Mett also improved.

Regular season SEC games.

so Jefferson had a better comp% and QB rating in 2011 than Mett in 2013?

I for one am shocked that a 22 year old senior can play at a higher level than an 18 year old freshman.

First, this thread is not intended to compare QBs. It is intended to compare the same QBs year over year.

Second, I tried to eliminate some noise. As the OP states, the graphs do not include OOC games or post-season games. The graphs represent regular season SEC games.

The slopes are so steep you could ski down them!

None of those lines have a slope statistically different from zero. (aside from Mett's 2 point line, which is a joke)

FAIL #1.

Why isnt your boy AJ on the graph?

I'll tell you what, I'm gonna post his stats from every game this year and run a real regression for you on just how awful he has been...

Jefferson sample in 2011 is pretty small. His best year was his sophomore year and I want to say he took 37 sacks in that year. No pocket presence. He was pretty terrible Jr year. I remember watching ESPN and Rod Gilmore said that his play that year is some of the worst he has ever seen.

The graphs are what they are.

However, if you examine Lee's QB Rating, it improved from 117.69 to 156. 62 over his career. That is significant improvement. Jefferson's Comp% improved from 46.3% to 66.1%. That is also significant improvement. Mett's YPS improved from 6.9 to 9.6. That is significant.

Each of the three QBs showed significant improvement over the course of thir career at LSU.

significant is a term to denote passing a statistical threshold.

Please provide the relevant rejection region size and estimated probability value to make such a comment.

It was terrible that Mett struggled in 2012. The offense should not be such that an experienced upperclassman with NFL talent still needs two years before thriving.

First, he is not my boy. I am equally a fan of Harris and Jennings. I've stated that repeatedly.

Second, Jennings threw passes in only one SEC game in 2013.

The Jefferson sample in 2011 is actually pretty large. He started two SEC games, played the majority of the Bama game, and threw passes in three other SEC games.

Then why start a thread about how playing harris would mean the team quit?
