No idea why they don't have pledges clean up everything for them. Maybe it's because they haven't gotten in trouble for leaving it dirty?

They try, but everyone is usually so trashed by the end of a tailgate that they can really only push it into a pile and move on.

They just need to start righting MIPs again and go straight for the pledges. Once a fraternity gets 20 MIPs they'll move their tailgate elsewere

No they won't. They'll just put up more walls around the tailgate and figure new ways to better protect the pledges. Nobody is leaving the Parade Grounds.

I believe it was the same ones who left 3-4 couches after each tailgate.

So... Every one of them?

frickers can drop thousands of dollars on tailgating equipment, (trailers, DJ equipment, tables, chairs, food, cups, etc), but frick spending an extra $20 on a box of contractor bags that will cover an entire season and throw their trash in it as the day goes along. It isn't their job to do that because LSU doesn't put out enough trash cans

Mother fricking this. We make sure to bring plenty of heavy duty bags and change them out/put them at the road when we leave. It's not hard and we understand it's a privilege to even be out there in the first place. It's trashy as frick and irresponsible to blame trash on LSU

I'm also tired of people blaming it on the frat tailgates. The number of tailgates/people on the PG last weekend GREATLY outnumbered the frats and the entire thing was disgusting. Of course there's always a larger amount of trash around their side but that's to be expected. They aren't the main problem.

Perhaps they don't put out trash cans because they know they're useless and a waste of money. It's easier to just pay for the cleanup, since you're going to have to do that anyway.

Not Alleva blame. Recent grads and 20 something "fans" eschew garbage bags provided by themselves to show the world what a pile ad trash they generate in just a few hours of tailgating, thinking such base behavior is "cool." Vermin like this do not understand that it takes absolutely no talent to be obnoxious, boom box loud and litter trash happy...

It's absolutely disgusting that tiger fangs have such little respect for their university to leave it like that. LSU fans, y'all need to step it up.
Not just LSU, BR and most of Louisiana are exactly the same; trashed and littered more than any other place in the country...........

There are 6 fraternities and 4 non-fraternity groups within eyesight of our place on the parade ground.

I'll let you guess which 6 had the mess on Saturday evening...

Not enough cans, but the frat stars make the parade grounds look like a joke.

Here's a thought...if you bring it on campus...bring it home. Put your trash in your vehicle and dispose of it your self.

Hey even not enough trash cans is not an excuse. These frats along with everyone else can bring plastic trash bags and bag everything up that doesn't fit in a trash can. It's not that hard and they can afford they can afford the bags.

LSU needs to start instituting fans for leaving a tailgate site a mess. Most of what I saw was where the frats were in the Parade ground but this goes for everyone out there.

All of yall posting about buying trash bags and shite dont get the point. The frats wont use them or buy them. They dont even use the trash cans they have.

Blame the fraternities who literally kick over the trash cans they have and spread garbage everywhere.

So do they use them for trash or don't they?

You dudes blaming frats exclusively for this sound like complete morons. The entire parade grounds were trashed. Like all the trash from the day was on the ground.

I have seen others in this thread say they have seen people that people will dump entire trash cans over looking for aluminium. So it doesn't matter if all the boy scouts around here are throwing their shite away if we have hobos coming through turning the things over during the game. If there is something to police, that seems fairly logical and easy.

Of course the frats are going to look like they are the worst offenders; they are the largest groups of people out there. But that also means they are going to attract the most visitors, especially fellow students that don't have the resources or inclination to put together a tailgate. People stop by, say this isn't my tailgate, I don't give a shite, and throw their shite on the ground. I mean have you ever been to a frat event? You would trash their shite in a heartbeat because you know it isn't coming back to you.

And just because you see a college-aged kid with a polo and backwards hat, doesn't mean he is in a frat. I mean did they have their pledge pins on or something?

There are some seriously suspect characters that come to campus and tailgate, that have no affiliation with the University, create a mess, and at the very least garbage, with no intention of even going to the game. LSU has no way of collecting revenue from these people, so cleaning up after them has to come out of other people's pockets, or we have to deal with the resources we already have.

No, they should go to every meeting and say we will start doing this if yall don't cleanup. Frats have volunteered slave labor, let the pledges clean up and turn a blind eye.

Happens all the time at our spot. Yet we pick it up after the game.
