IMO...is to beat Bama physically. Load the offense with as much beef as possible including tight ends and Copeland. Run a pistol offense with Ware/Ford/Shepard (variable speed). Mix the pass and run (30/70) with Ware and Shepard throwing. Totally different look. Control clock. convert on 3rd down (key game stat). wear them down in second half and use Jeremy Hill and Kenny Hilliard...repeat.

Uses our strength and puts our best foot forward. If we lose the physical battle, we will lose the game no matter what offense we run...

Thoughts? What will Miles do? Certainly he won't line up our conventional offense Mett. if he does, Bama will eat our lunch...

All I know is, I haven't seen the "magic" since the MadHatter quit being the MadHatter on the field. Let's see something crazy this weekend.

I want to see Saban's expression and compare it to Spurrier's when Colt David stuck it up his arse.......

I like the mix. Hill has to carry the rock, Hilliard worries me.

With everybody writing us off I would honestly just love to see them being confident our defense keeps us in it and when Mett has had success its been play action and he throws the receivers open. Sounds good on paper at least

A ton of shep and ford out of the backfield, beat them to the edges. Our Wrs are atleast good at downfield blocking

I think Bama will come after Mett and cause turnovers. We have to do something different that beats them physically

I've been saying the same thing.

But as far as what will Miles do, I'm sure he'll do something that no one can predict - including trying the same gameplan from 1/9 or going with a 4-wide run and shoot. NOTHING is above Les Miles.

Three yards and a cloud of dust? Les is from the midwest.

Obvious answer is throw screens when they do that but doing it is another subject.

I know. Saban is too disciplined in how he gameplans and prepares his team. he would be caught off guard having prepared Bama for what they have seen on tape. We won on 11/5 because Jefferson came in. He wasn't prepared for that.

I'm hoping Ware fills that role.

Ware/Ford/Copeland and take a deep shot every now and then. 2nd half, hit em with Hill/Shep/Hilliard.

Most important is to convert on 3rd down. If we can convert half, we win.
