For me Sat night confirmed what I’d long suspected: the difference between us and Bama is what we call “noise” level. 1/9 was an anomaly. If I’m not mistaken, every other game ’07 and on either had a lead change or was tied in the 4th qtr.

The narrative before Sat night was that Bama was way better. In reality, the difference is very small.

Separated by a total of 6 points in the last 6 regular season games. Amazing

The difference is that LSU plays to their talent about 3 times a year, if that. And in past years they've played their best game against Bama.

Bama is going to continue to be considered better as long as LSU finds a way to lose games and struggle with the Auburn's of the world.

Didn't the Bammers drop a game to us last year at home?

While weve struggled with a young team this year, LSU dominated the toughest schedule in history last year and beat you in BDS.

Bama has played full throttle 2011 and 2012 so far.

But 09 you struggled mightily against inferior competition all year and 2010 you lost 3 games, including yet another one to us.

So frick off with that shite

Bama lost to LSU once last year. Guess that screws up your argument.

Let me check back and see...who was it that lost to La. Monroe and Moo State?
Who is it that has the longest regular season non-conference winning steak?

First post ever here but I just cant stand the gump arrogance anymore, the season that you are having this year looks very similar to the year that we had last year, except that we actually had a tough schedule last year. We outplayed you on saturday night and you simply cannot deny that. To say that we play up to our opponents 3 times a year is moronic. Its easy to beat teams by 30 when you only have to prepare for 3 games this year. Take 3 starting O-Linemen, and arguably the best defensive back off your team and tell me how you think you finish this year. You got a defacto national championship last year in the way of a mulligan, much like you did against Texas where McCoy got hurt.

Remember 2002 when miami was the greatest team in the history of football and they got beat by OSU?

This season feels eerily similar as an outsider. But that scenario depends mightily on who ends up in the title game.
