I follow it very closely. I just couldn't remember when the national seeds came out. I thought it was separate from the host sites but Ell's post made me question that since he didn't mention it as something separate.

I agree. I look forward to the Friday afternoon 1/4 regional game every year. It felt weird in 2012 when LSU played ULM at night. LSU plays on that Friday afternoon and you know the regional's started.

IF LSU has any say so about it, CPM is like SKip used to be. SKip preferred to play the first game Friday afternoon in case he would lose. Playing the second game at nite, losing, and then having to come back early the next morning was a disadvantage both he & CPM feel.

Rain is also a factor. If the early game has rain delays the later game on Friday could start very late.

Skip could do that bc LSU fans pack the place whatever time we play, not all teams did this back in the day...
