The least physical game Miss St has played in a long time.

I really didn't think State would win the game, but I was really disapointed in the fact that they did not play a physical game like they have been known to do. Guess that weak arse schedule made them soft!..I've seen more physical State teams with a worse win-loss record play a hell of lot harder...

Agreed. State didn't really compete.

Aint no doubt about it. I said all week long that Bama would win but they would surely come out with some bruises. I havent watched State alot this year but what I saw from them last night was one of the weakest games regarding being physical that I have ever witnessed from State and Im in my fifties.

Please enlighten me? I don't know that we gained anything from them playing Bama before we do.

I guess by feeding Alabama's huge ego and making them think they are better than they truly are.. They weren't even tested.. and will be in for a rude awakening.. right?

I keep seeing this, but how does everyone know how the alabama players are thinking and feeling?

If I were a betting man i'd say they are well aware of what's at stake saturday and aren't expecting to just show up and win

Maybe Bama was just that much more physical than State, so they looked soft. Amazing how many won't give Bama any credit for being really good.

Not ranting, just trying to find out the point you were making about they did what we needed them to do! What exactly did they do ?..

Not denying how good Bama is, that has nothing to do with the physical game that State did not play. Ever watched State play in the last 3 years?..

Really, I don't think we're able to speculate.

Bama could be that good, but Miss State never showed us anything that they were as good given their schedule.

Bama shows up strong but hasn't shown what they can do against a competitive top ranked team. Miss State was top ranked but the schedule that got them there doesn't show much. It's a good win for Bama but we won't really know until they play LSU (and that also depends on which LSU team shows up).

LSU may have played through more adversity so far but the only teams that are panning out strong are Florida and Texas A&M.

I don't care what they're thinking

But they haven't had to win a close game his year. LSU has.

If it's close, LSU might have an edge.

What shocked me was not only didn't State really push back, they collapsed to the point of the Bammer starters getting to sit out much of the second half.

We still don't know how they will respond when someone hits them in the mouth. Hasn't happened...yet.

i thought state was very intimidated last nite. they are not used to being in the limelight and they choked. they deviated from their personna and played not to lose. that is no slam. they just need the experience of big games on the road when they have the team that CAN win. in other words, they simply choked. thats part of life. anybody that tells me they've never choked is either a lier or has never really competed. spectators, on the other hand, never choke.

Miss state did not choke. They are not that good. Their schedule is weaker than bama's

So far, Bama has made every team they have faced look pretty soft.

But the State schedule was bout as poor as it gets. imo
