Did you just link an almost year old article by someone nobody's heard of to prove your point?
Posted on 2/20/17 at 4:29 pm to lsu2006
You must have looked at all the previous basketball coaches that lsu has had then realized something.

Yeah. I realized you're an idiot.

Johnny Jones is the worst coach in any sport LSU has ever had. He's setting futility records.

So can you give us some of Johnny Jones accomplishments since he's been here or over the entire span of his career?

You think he is? Look up his record in his first few years at LSU then compare it to the previous 5 coaches...
Thank you for playing, try again next time.

I'm just asking a question no need to get upset. Can you name some accomplishments he's made? Those first few years when he was so good did he make any NCAA tourneys? Winning 20 games vs east west a&m tech doesn't mean much.

. Outside of stromile swift whose the last LSU basketball player to make a quick impact 2nd year or better since.
It's Johnny Jones responsibility and his supposed best asset to load the team up with players that can compete inside this conference. He has failed miserably at doing that one task. That has led him to fail every where else on the court.

Wow, impressive. Makes me forget all about missing the postseason last year entirely with the #1 overall pick on the roster and going 1-13 in the SEC this year!

Philly sportswriters are already calling him a bust. I posted a link earlier from 1 of them. But im sure if you searched it you will understand then.

First off Brady inherited a team on sanctions and still did more than jones has done in his 3rd year. And I'll say it again winning 20 games with the 400th ranked schedule gets you nowhere and means zip. How many NCAA tourneys has he made? How many conf titles? He had 4 first team all SEC players in his first 4 years he's had 3 mcdonalds all Americans the number 1 overall NBA draft pick who happens to be the best basketball prospect since Lebron James. He's had 6 pro basketball players in his first 5 years. Again can you name something he's accomplished?

Oh no let's not blame JJ for this sorry arse basketball team it's the player fault right? Let's go back a couple of months here when we finally put the ax to Les Miles and let coach O take over what did we see there DIP shite.

Dude, no one cares.

Now you're being dishonest. 1 sportswriter does not equal "Sportswriters". And if you read or listen to any credible NBA analyst they'll say he's a can't miss prospect. Hall of Famer David Aldridge did a piece on Simmons during Allstar weekend. He said the overall opinion of people in the league is that when Simmons and Embiid finally get a full season together next year they will be a playoff team. We are talking about the 76ers btw. If you're going to defend Jones and attack Simmons you just don't have a leg to stand on. There's no data to support your argument.

This is 100% wrong. Free throw shooting can def improve with proper technique. There are very few cases where either you can make em or you can't is a reality. Someone like Shaq yea his giant hands cause a problem but 90% of everyone els is capable of improving free throws. Checkout NBA players FT numbers compared to their college FT numbers usually they improve at a very high rate. And it's not a coincidence that every one of Jones teams have been horrible FT shooting teams it's a teachable skill.
Oh Jesus Christ I just meant that this is one area where it's just retarded to blame the coach. I'm openly critical of JJ but this is just insane. Trust me I'm a huge purest when it comes to the art of the shot itself. I was coached by Palubinskas on an individual level (so I get it) but the dynamics and details of shooting the basketball isn't something that belongs in a team practice on a regular basis....it's shite you do in the offseason.
