Yay, next year! Wasn't this year supposed to be the year? Or was it the year before?

we should challenge again for the Crystal!

in the meantime, we should condition, condition, condition the hell out of this team while gaining more swagger for next year. I mean change it up and keep changing it til it becomes too familiar and then change it up again. I hope we can be as dominant and unstoppable with our schedule next based on the experiences alone.

I'm sure Rivers/Randall will complete hard along with the newbie QB from Penn St. m(I say this out of respect for that gentlemen until proven worthy in the purple and gold game)

But in the mean time, Miles/Moffitt/KragStud will hopefully create more strategies and well-versed tactics to uppercut the world next year like we always do for LSU-Bama

sorry for rant, just got off work

The back four and LB's yes, but not the front four, although they were a bit disappointing this year. No sacks but did hurry the qb a bit. If we have all of them coming back then I think we have a shot. If not, it will be a toss up. Look at last year, we lost Shep, PP and Nevis and had unknowns like Mingo, Brokers, Logan and Sam coming off a knee injury. We seemed to do fine.

And because their present is bright ours can't be?

Did you watch LSU this year? Jeez....every game was littered with wierd/questionable/dumb coaching blunders!

And even worse when pressure was on.

The schedule next year is brutal, may not be all that bright.

We DID challenge for the crystal this year. That Bama game was in our grasp. Had we won it we'd be two victories from the BCSC.

Don't get me wrong, Mingo is an awesome player and will be a NFL starter one day. Our pressure on the QBs hasn't lived up to the hype in my humble opinion.

Mingo will be a difference maker in the NFL. Montgomery will be almost invisible in the NFL. I'm not knocking Sam. I expect him to be a starter - just not an elite one.

Mingo - multiple pro bowls

Monty - no pro bowls.

lose Mathieu, Faulk,Blue, the recievers to grades the linebackers to injury, 3 starting o-line, in addition to freshman corners and a new QB who has maybe 10 snaps in SEC play

What we did in 2011 and this year with the QB limitations and injury bug is very impressive if you can get past the Alabama jealous shite many on here whine over like women about anything when they having their period.

LM will always have the LSU future bright.

It's always bright, but just 'how bright'? SECC bright? NC bright? 10 wins bright?

I'd say 10 wins bright.

In July if you told me we would:

-struggle to find any offensive identity until the 8th game
-lose 2 games, one to Florida(I thought we would lose Bama)
-get stuck with a shitty bowl game that no one cares about
-leave the season feeling frustrated (again) and wondering when LSU would field a competent offense
-not enjoy another season of LSU football

if you would have told me all that before the season started I would have been surprised.

If you feel this way then I feel sorry for you. Seriously. You can't even enjoy the season of LSU football? If we win our bowl game we will finish in the top 5 in the final rankings. What a frickin douchebag.

And you say LSU would struggle to find an offensive identity UNTIL the 8th game, but also leave the season feeling so frsutrated about when LSU would field a competent offense. Well which is it? If they found the identity then what the frick are you frustrated about?

Amazing how many of you dumbasses on here feel like LSU should run the table and win the national championship EVERY single frickin year.

Yeah, another disappointing year of LSU football ONLY being ranked #6.

Some of the fruit loops here give dumbass a bad name.

Don't. It's gonna be ok, really it is.

I enjoyed a couple of the games, but most were hard to watch.

That it took so long to find the identity?

I picked them preseason to lose 1 to Alabama and not go to a championship game.
