Lot less stressful than the last one against Florida

I think using it on 4th and 13 was a major risk. It was probably more suitable for around 4th and 3. However, it was executed perfectly and Florida cooperated. I'm thrilled it worked.

Probably why it was even more unexpected.

the greatest part about it, to me, was after everyone in Tiger Stadium is losing their minds because we scored the Td...Florida's players and coaches on the sidelines were all standing still, in awe...and all McIlwain could do was applaud...

I thought that was great. every Gator on the field stood there stone still like, "well, frick!"

I like that the referee fell down in the end zone at the end. Karma is a bitch lol

Took giant cajones to call. We don't get it and the fire Les crew is in OT this week. Props to him for trusting and giving those guys the tools to do it under the pressure.

Me too, but it really wasn't a smart call under the circumstances was it?

It was the right call because it worked. It was the smart call because a field goal would have been a win for them, and I honestly think without that momentum swing back to our direction we may have lost the game by 4.

I had not heard the 'mad hatter' reference used recently. After a flea flicker and fake FG, it likely has received a revival. The return to 'unconventional' was quite pleasant.

It was the right call, because if it doesn't work it's still tied and over 9 min left in the game.

It was the right call because it wasn't expected.

It was the right call because Les is The Mad Hatter.

I loved the execution and the fact that the holder made sure the ball didn't touch the ground when faking the hold.

"This buds for you... Mr. fake field goal holder guy!"

Gators are still convinced it was an illegal pass

All I know is we would still be hearing the Rant complaining if it didn't work. Tiger Stadium probably would have lost it, especially after the poor 3rd down play call right before it.

I think that single play may have given Les his swagger back.

What is the actual rule? My brothers and I were discussing... the holder can pass it from his knee obviously but I heard if it's a botched snap (not an intentional fake FG) then holder has to stand up to pass. Is this correct?
